Plant Care
Light: The Red Cyclamen thrives in bright, indirect light in cooler temperatures. Avoid direct sunlight.
Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. It is best to "bottom-water," meaning to place the plant in a tray of water for 15 minutes and allow the roots to soak up what they need.
Soil: Use a well-draining soil such as a mix between equal parts peat moss, perlite and coarse sand.
Blooming: Blooms will last several weeks, up to 3 months. To encourage new blooms, cut the spent flowers at the base. The plant will go dormant around April. Keep the plant dry during this time. Resume regular care in the fall to encourage new growth and blooms.
