Light: The Ric Rac Cactus thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight but too much will scorch the leaves.
Water: The Ric Rac is a tropical cactus so it appreciates more water than its desert cactus cousins. Water moderately about once every 1 to 2 weeks, allowing the water to drain through the bottom of the pot.
Soil: Use a well-draining soil such as a mixture of equal parts succulent soil, perlite, peat moss and orchid bark.
