Kalanchoe

The Kalanchoe is a popular houseplant that packs a colorful punch for not a lot of effort. They feature bright red, pink or yellow flower clusters that last for many weeks. As a succulent, they store water in their leaves so require less frequent watering.
Plant Care
Plant Care
Light: The Kalanchoe needs bright, indirect light to thrive.
Water: Water when the top 2 inches of soil feels dry. In the spring and summer, this is about once a week. During the fall and winter, water about every other week.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting soil, ideally one formulated for cacti or succulents.
Blooming: After blooms are spent, remove the dead flowers and move the plant to a place with at least 14 hours of darkness per day. Reduce watering during this time. After 6 weeks, new bloom growth will appear.
